Description of house essay

The Burden’s household itself is described as having been composed of “rough logs” with long ago missing “chinking. The description of the house directs the reader to believe it is hand built and very small, containing a solitary window and taking mere four strides to cross the floor.

Every house has a story of its own that has to be told and shared. This essay focuses on the inside and outside beauty of my house and how I have become attached to the essence and deeper meaning that it holds. The view outside of my house is a mixture of colors and beautiful scenery.

(a) A house is a place for family living, where every individual enjoys the happiness, feels comfortable, gets maximum relaxation, passes on family traditions and customs from one generation to the other and can keep their treasure safely. (b) It is a place, where one feels more protected and independent in household activities.

If I had to describe my houses theme it would be fall mainly because of its tasteful decorations and calming color scheme. All of the creams, browns, and reds make it that way. On the wall in my living room hang October, November, and January paintings. These months stand for me, my dad, and my older sister’s birthdays.
